what is the black board?? my laptop is speaker is damaged. can you tell me. and one more question can this solarpanel generate a motor( actually i want to build my own go kart but do not use gasoline)well the world become polluted.
Great video and nice solar panel.
One improvement I might suggest is to sandwich the solar coil between two sheets of aluminium and bolt it together to get good thermal contact between coil and black aluminium sheet. I am going to build a panel of my own but I think I will use a flat panel old central heating radiator that should do a fair job.
im confused i think.. how do you heat your home with hot water?
You will get a chemical reaction between the aluminum foil and copper tubing. It will rot out both.
Wouldn’t you have a chemical reaction between the aluminum foil and the copper pipe?
how do I make this solar panel work for things other then a water heater?
I have a Science fair in a month do you mind if i use your idea?
and can cook stuff like pre heat a pizza or make cookies?
Hello.. where is the 2nd part?
U need paint black the tubes and u can replace the tubes by policarbonate.. sorry my english isnt cool.
How do you actually heat the water. Do you have to connect wires or what? And can you use this particular solar panel to power other things such as LED bulbs? Great video, though. Please answer these questions. Everything else is very convenient.
The heat is in the box , but how do you move the heat to water ??
to stop you pipe from kinking when you bend it fill it with sand…..
I think solar is Great, But I have no technical hands or completely understand it.
Until I can find time to learn it or have someone do it for me. Plus save up money to purchase it
I found SURGEXPRO online. For less than half of my weekly pay check and plug and save instruction guide. I save now 40% a month I made my money back in 60days. You can do the same as me.
Thanks !
But how do you get the water through the coils if there is glycol in there?
@shheellbbyy6532 Scale it down. No problem, just don’t burn yourself….I did the same science fair project back in 1974 and won first place….
hey conel, i have a science project due and i saw your video. Would it work if i made it a 55cm box on all sides?? we have to heat cold water without electricity but it has to be 55cm long and the width has to be 55cm as well. HELPPPPPP
If you have sunshine, it will work. It may not get up to max temps, but will heat water enough to shower or heat your home. I had this small sample collector out in 15 degree weather, and reached 125 degrees….My final DIY video is in production.. Thanks
Currently we have minus -18 degrees here… would this system work under those conditons, because that’s when we could really do with some heat – or does it only work when it is 80 degrees outside .. and hey, that’s hot enough not to need any domestic heating anyway… seems like a ‘catch 22′ situation to me…!
Hey Colonella. Really excited i found your vid. Can’t wait for part 2. Thanks so much for doing this. We need to stop this dependency. This seems simple, and cost effective. I appreciate the info.
scam alert scam alert these fools operate out of doral Fl. and have an F rating with the better business bureau…..please do not waste your money on this bogus info.
Could I use a mirror on the bottom insted of foil?
Thank you. I found this video to be inspirational.
are you located in farifield, oh, 45011.. If so I am very interested in this hot water system for my home….. please comment back..
hey friend have u connsiderd salvage as
a protical in your plan ??? junk yards
often have old hot water heaters that could be modified to insert glycal circulation this way a preheater of sorts
could easely be connected to the hot water, and old refrigurater evaperaters
cooled be used as a heater in the house
that can be inserted at the intake vent of your house so as to use the duct and fan
WOW..great job..do you have a video of it???
